The United States Apple released the update “iOS 15.0.1” of iOS 15 on October 1 (local time). Fixed an issue where "Unlock on Apple Watch" might not work on the iPhone 13 series.
While wearing a mask, if you try to unlock your iPhone using Face ID for facial recognition, you will be prompted to enter your passcode. "Unlock with Apple Watch" is a function that allows you to unlock your iPhone with Face ID by combining it with an Apple Watch that has a passcode set and "wrist detection" enabled. If you're wearing an Apple Watch, you can unlock it by simply lifting and looking into your iPhone, even when wearing a mask. However, users who started using the iPhone 13 series (released on September 24) continued to report that "Unlock on Apple Watch" did not work, and Apple promised to support it.
No new features added in the update, other storage warnings "low free space" are incorrectly displayed in the Settings app, and voice mediation is expected on some Fitness + users' Apple Watch Fix the problem that starts without doing.
