Run "ViVeTool" at the command prompt
By enabling the hidden feature of Windows 11 Insider Preview 22572 released on March 9, File Explorer is now tabbed. Until now, if you wanted to open multiple folders and work on it, you had to display that many windows, which was a hassle. It's still an Insider Preview, so it's not always in the official version, but the Explorer tabs are very useful.
Windows 11 has a feature, but sometimes it's disabled because it's unstable or A / B tested. Normally you have to wait until a new build is released, but you can force it to be enabled by using an advanced tool called "ViVeTool".
Download "ViVeTool-v0.2.1.zip" (as of March 14) from Github (https://github.com/thebookisclosed/ViVe), and open "vivetool addconfig 34370472 2" at the command prompt opened with administrator privileges. Enter. After restarting, Explorer will be tabbed.
Click "+" to add a new tab to Explorer
When I open Explorer, I see a "+" button to add a new tab. You can also add tabs by clicking "Open in New Tab" from the folder's right-click menu. Now you can switch tabs and back and forth between different folders, just like in a browser.
I was able to switch folders with tabs
The tabs switched crisply and felt like working at a practical level. After all, it's comfortable that the windows aren't cluttered. Of course, it also supports dark mode. Also, if you open a lot of tabs, arrow marks will appear on the left and right and you will be able to scroll.

It seems that some edge browser shortcuts can also be used. You can close the active tab with "Ctrl + W" or add a new tab with "Ctrl + T". However, the shortcut to reopen the last closed tab with "Ctrl + Shift + T" and the shortcut to duplicate the active tab with "Ctrl + Shift + K" did not work.

By the way, you can't separate tabs into separate windows by dragging tabs to change the order or dropping them outside the window like in a browser. This area will be improved in the future.
It was very convenient just to use it as a trial, so I would like it to be included in the official version.
