Two minutes after the hold, the person in charge told me the following procedure, "I want you to operate as you say now."

  1. Open "Mobile Communication" in the settings
  2. If "Mobile Communication Plan" is blank, tap it
  3. Tap "Continue" when the "Mobile communication usage and plan" screen appears.
  4. Enter the network security code of the SIM card (contract line) and tap "Next"
  5. After reading all the notes, tap "Agree"
  6. Tap "Close" when the consent completion screen appears
  7. When you return to the mobile communication screen, check that the contracted packet pack name appears in the "Mobile communication plan".
  8. Turn off the iPhone and turn it on again (restart)
  9. After restarting, select "0001 docomo" in "Wi-Fi" in the settings.

On the other hand, when I search the Web, I see other events where the iPhone XS (or iPhone XS Max) cannot automatically connect to 0001docomo. However, the official website of docomo Wi-Fi does not contain any explanation such as "The automatic connection of 0001docomo may not be available on iPhone XS / XS Max".
