Review of Sanwa Supply's Bluetooth touchpad "400-MABT128". Did not work on Chromebook

It's great to have a USB-C port instead of the usual microUSB, and you can use it with a Bluetooth connection while charging, but keep in mind that it can't be used as a wired connection.

The red LED lights up during charging, and the blue LED lights up and blinks when connected via Bluetooth such as pairing.

As a point to note when pairing, pairing may not be successful (timeout) depending on the timing of pressing the button, so you need to try it several times.

In addition, it supports multi-pairing (up to 2 units), and you can switch the connection destination by pressing and holding the pairing button for 3 seconds, so it was convenient to use a computer or tablet properly. By the way, it takes about 5 to 7 seconds to switch.

Although it is easy to use as a touchpad, the feature of "400-MABT128" is that it also supports multi-touch gestures.

The above image is taken from the official operation method, but the operations that can be performed on Windows and Mac are slightly different.

Also, in Windows, you can change some gestures, but for example, you could not change the scroll direction (scroll to XX in down motion) or whether or not you press and right-click.

It may be possible to change it, but it did not change even if I set it from the Windows setting screen as described in the manual (it is also possible that it was Windows 11).

There may be no problem if you are using the default settings, but if you are a person who has changed the settings to your liking, the point that it is inflexible is a minus.

By the way, Windows did not allow you to switch between virtual desktops (swipe left or right with four fingers), so people using this should also find it unsatisfactory.

And as I mentioned at the beginning, pairing and operation were successful on Windows and Mac, but on Chromebook (Chrome OS), even if pairing is possible, it does not work, and pairing itself fails, at least the current situation. I couldn't use it with the following 5 models that I tried immediately.

However, since there is no description about support for Chrome OS (Chromebook) in the manual or official website, I expected that it would not be usable, but I could not really use it, so it is a bit disappointing.

It may be compatible with my model, but if you are considering purchasing the "400-MABT128" on your Chromebook, you should be careful.

If it is not supported, it would be good if you clearly write "Not compatible with Chromebook (Chrome OS)" on the product page to reduce mistakes.
