Palm has announced Palm Buds Pro, the first new product in three years since Palm Phone. Fully wireless earphones with ANC will be available in the US, Canada and Mexico on November 9th for $ 129. During the reservation period, it will be $ 30 off and $ 99.
Developed by Palm over a year, the Palm Buds Pro features a 10mm dynamic driver and is confident in its sound quality, "providing studio-grade sound." With three microphones installed in each unit, it provides not only ANC but also ambient mode that captures external sound and environmental noise canceling (ENC) function that reduces noise during calls.
Battery life is up to 5 hours when using ANC. It takes more than 24 hours with a charging case. The supported codecs are SBC and AAC. The earphone itself has IPX4 splash proof performance. In addition, it also supports Siri and the Google Assistant, which can be used with a triple tap on the earphones.
According to Palm, Palm Buds Pro was designed by Samsung and Beats by Dr. Dre designers with a focus on comfort and ergonomics for all ear shapes and sizes. However, The Verge has found a product that looks exactly like the number of logos and mics, at least the Gawa seems to be OEM procured.
The product comes with 3 sizes of earpieces, as well as an accessory set that comes with earpieces of the same color as the black, blue and pink silicone cases.
The number of ANC-compatible earphones is increasing in the same price range, and Nothing ear (1) is likely to be a rival in the latest products. Since the Palm Phone was at least an excellent product in terms of uniqueness, the evaluation of Palm Buds Pro is also a concern.
